Salesforce hosted a diversity of customers and partners during its annual Salesforce Live event held at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, Dubai. Aimed at exploring Salesforce’s dynamic growth and expansion in the region, the event highlighted the large-scale investments that the company is making in the Middle East.

Hosted by Thierry Nicault, Area Vice President – UAE, Middle East for Salesforce, the event recognized its customers and partners while also showcasing growing partnerships in the Middle East, the fastest-growing region for Salesforce, contributing to its ecosystem. The Salesforce ecosystem of partners in the UAE, for instance, will create 20,300 new jobs and USD 3.9 billion in new business revenues by 2026 with an aim for continued expansion both locally and regionally. Speakers at the event included Polly Sumner, Chief Adoption Officer, Salesforce and Robin Fisher, Senior Vice-President for the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa region at Salesforce.

“The Middle East is one of our strongest and fastest-growing markets. Thanks to our dedicated customers and partners, we are able to expand further into this region and grow our ecosystem by delivering Salesforce solutions that enable the Middle East’s marketing, sales, commerce, service and IT teams to work as one from anywhere. It’s especially compelling to hear Salesforce customers in the region share their firsthand journeys in digital innovation and transformation across various industry verticals – we are proud to play a contributing role in their success,” said Nicault.

Salesforce also recently acquired integration solution Mulesoft, business intelligence and data visualization company Tableau, and business communication platform and digital HQ solution Slack.

Along with the keynote address, the event saw a dedicated session on Slack and sustainability and a second session that discussed the launch of Hyperforce in the UAE. A reimagination of Salesforce’s platform architecture built to reliably deliver the Salesforce Customer 360, Hyperforce delivers a platform that is powerful and scalable and supports high-level encryption, local data storage and is also backwards compatible. Through a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hyperforce is able to deploy Salesforce solutions in the region while leveraging the advantages of public cloud computing.

The event ended with customer panels that highlighted best practice in leveraging Salesforce solutions for a variety of industry sectors, with commentary from customers including TECOM, Emirates Transport, EMAAR, and Boxit4me, as well as sessions with partners Cloudzlab, El Technology, PwC, EPAM and IBM.
