Infor, the industry cloud company, has appointed Mohamed Taha as senior director of channels & alliances in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.
Channel partners play a key role in strengthening Infor’s ability to reach customers and execute digital transformation projects across the region. Many of these partners have a long-standing relationship with Infor, along with a deep understanding of their geographical market, and expertise in planning and executing transformative projects in specific verticals such as industrial manufacturing, supply chain management and healthcare.
“Mohamed is an ideal fit for our team,” said Amel Gardner, Infor’s VP and GM for Middle East, Turkey & Africa. “With more than 25 years’ experience of leading channel sales in the region, Mohamed has a deep understanding of the channel, and an ability to foster valuable, lasting partnerships built on trust and a sense of shared ownership, creating value for all parties.”
Taha is an accomplished channel sales leader with in-depth experience in channel management, business development, and direct sales, along with comprehensive experience of management and advisory of strategic activities for large organizations across the Middle East.
Taha has developed highly effective Middle Eastern channel structures for Dell, Hitachi Data Systems, Sage, and BlackBerry. In each case, he demonstrated a sharp focus on revenue growth and worked with channel partners to drive successful engagements with customers.
“I’m honored to join Infor at such an exciting time in its development in the region,” Taha said. “Channel partners have a major role to play in helping organizations across the region digitally transform with Infor’s innovative, industry-specific solutions. I look forward to working with our partners, helping them to engage with both existing and new customers while enhancing and expanding our channel partnerships across the region.”
