Dell Technologies has introduced the new Dell 14S and Dell 16S laptops, bringing together performance, on-device AI and all-day battery life without compromising on style or portability.

The Dell 14S and 16S run on the latest Series 3 Intel Core Ultra processors, up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H. The laptops feature built-in AI acceleration and up to 50 TOPS NPU performance to support on-device AI workloads.

According to Dell, the Dell 14S delivers up to 97% higher multitasking performance compared to the previous generation, while the Dell 16S offers up to 59% higher multitasking performance. The company says the systems are designed to support workloads ranging from content creation and editing to complex spreadsheets and everyday productivity. The laptops are also available with AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, which are built for AI PCs and deliver multitasking, graphics performance, and AI capabilities.

Built as Copilot+ PCs, the Dell 14S and 16S bring AI directly to the device without any cloud dependency or setup. Intelligent features enhance video calls, system responsiveness and everyday efficiency without sacrificing battery life.

The Dell 14S and Dell 16S feature slim aluminium chassis designed to combine portability, durability, and a premium design.

Featuring slim 15.3mm metal designs and lightweight structures (3.2 lbs for Dell 14S and 3.9 lbs for Dell 16S), the two laptops are available in Celestial Blue or Frost Blue. They also feature backlit keyboards with new, intuitive shortcuts, and enhanced airflow for cool, quiet operation. Dell says the laptops have undergone military-grade testing for durability.

The Dell 14S delivers up to 24 hours of productivity battery life and up to 18 hours of streaming. The Dell 16S offers up to 26 hours of streaming and up to 14 hours of productivity.

The Dell 14S and Dell 16S are available with multiple display options, including FHD+, QHD+, and OLED configurations. FHD+ panels offer up to 400 nits of brightness and wide viewing angles, and are available in both touch and non-touch variants. The displays also feature ComfortView technology, which Dell says is designed to help reduce eye strain during extended use.

QHD+ display options support refresh rates of up to 120Hz, up to 500 nits of brightness, 100% sRGB colour coverage, and Dolby Vision support. OLED display options offer deep blacks, high contrast, and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, while Dolby Vision and ComfortView Plus are designed to enhance viewing quality and reduce blue light exposure without compromising colour accuracy.

Audio capabilities include Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers and Smart Amplifier technology. According to Dell, the systems are designed to deliver enhanced audio performance for video calls, content creation, entertainment, and other multimedia workloads.

Both laptops are manufactured using recycled aluminium and plastics, ship in fully recycled packaging, and are ENERGY STAR certified as well as EPEAT Gold with Climate+ registered. Dell says these features are intended to help reduce environmental impact.

While the Dell 14S is positioned as a compact system for users seeking productivity on the move, the Dell 16S is designed for those who prefer a larger display and extended streaming endurance.
